How to Join
It's a simple two step process:
Questions
Q: How many will people I meet?
A: You will be connected to at least 6 people in private 1x1 breakout rooms. Each meeting will last 10 minutes before the system will move you to the next person.
Q: What is the format?
A: We are trying an experimental format kind of like "Speed Networking" or "Speed Dating".
Q: Who else is going?
A: We are curating attendees for the event, meaning that we review each applicant for fit. We review their intake questions and also have a fancy AI matchmaking algorithm (which we can also override manually when we want to be meddlesome).
Q: Why is there a ticket price?
A: It is fundamentally hard to organize and coordinate people. The ticket price supports our budget to advertise and market the event, which enables us to reach high quality attendee candidates and make the event even greater. Also, a ticket price filters for seriousness. Many in-person events in professional society charge thousands of dollars, and unfortunately you can easily walk away meeting only one or two people. But not here.
